Alison is one of a team of Regional Training Officers, and the majority of her part time appointment is allocated to this District.

Alison’s main areas of work are:

1. Train and support adults working with children and young people
2. Provide materials, events and support for discipleship
3. Encourage Methodist people to explore what God is asking of them 4. Being involved in organising District events, which this year include BibleFresh
4. Oversee the Safeguarding training in the District
5. Alison offers support to local churches as and when requested – this often involves bringing people together to help communication, and encourage the sharing of visions.
6. Alison offers learning and development opportunities for lay and ordained staff alongside the Continual Development in Ministry Secretary (Bev Ramsden)
7. Alison works closely with various other folk, including the District Evangelism Enabler (Nick Moxon) and the District Development Enabler (Wendy Beard), and the North North West Regional Training Partnership and Upcoming learning and development opportunities
